On Yahoo!, I recapped The Carrie Diaries, Girls (ugh), and love in an elevator on Nashville; interviewed Coco Rocha about The Face (watch it) and Jack Osbourne about Alpha Dogs (skip it); nominated six Valentine’s episodes for best ever; and talked about Ari Gold’s Haunt-ourage house hitting the market. (Why didn’t I think of that Haunt-ourage joke last week? Shit.) There may also have been a dancing-nuts joke.
We also chose our next Read-Along book, and Netflix just horked up the American version of The Vanishing. Stay tuned!

I was just thinking about that Simpsons Valentine episode this morning. I’ve always wanted someone to give me a valentine with a train on it.
I have to warn you; the only reason why the American version of “The Vanishing” is worth watching (even if you haven’t seen the original; I hadn’t before seeing this) is to marvel at how much Jeff Bridges sounds like Donald Sutherland in it. Otherwise, a complete travesty.
Yeah…it’s part of Crushed Film Festival, but I’m…not sure who I was crushing on in it? And the original “Vanishing” is SO GOOD, this one isn’t going to do well. But let it never be said of Kiefer that he doesn’t show up to play.
