My great good friend Hud is Director of Development at an organization called Freedom Calls; the foundation’s mission is to deploy the latest technology to keep servicemen and -women in Iraq in touch with their families, which despite internet and phone advances in recent years is even harder than you might assume.

NBC Nightly News featured the organization recently, in the video embedded below.   If you know anyone in the armed forces who might benefit from the FCF’s work, please forward the link to them or their families.

Good show, Hud.
