Good afternoon, friends — I apologize for the delay in today’s posting. The Donors Choose back end got a hitch in its giddy-up, but things seem to have settled down for now; you may see a couple of projects that don’t seem to belong, but we can’t have them taken off, and kids need microscopes too, so you can donate to those or not, as you see fit.
As of this writing, our Donors Choose tally is $8,670 and our total for scholarships and uniforms is roughly $880. Solid week, guys!
It’s time to lean into the uniforms project; even a few bucks would really help kids get uniforms — and not just uniforms, but gloves, bats, and cleats, too. Let them feel like their team is official and real.

I am so confused by that last project. It says six people have donated but I count nine donor comments. Maybe they paid with cards and DC is waiting to batch out?
@wendy: So am I — I didn’t even add that project, it just got tacked on to my giving page somehow. I’ll add a few more projects to give you guys some choices.
I just donated with a gift card I didn’t even remember that I had! I’m really happy because I thought I might have to skip this year (company just announced some furlough days which means cash is tight). Woo hoo, go TN!
