Dear God, that first one looks like Pepto-Bismol without the courage of its convictions.

How you keep that lab coat from being spattered with effluvia most foul is a great mystery.

(Plus, great “We both no where this is headed” glances at the camera.)

  • Nanc in Ashland says:

I may have to try the coffee soda as I’ve been known to drink a half iced coffee and half Pepsi original (God, I love that stuff) on the rare morning I have a 4 a.m. phone call for work. Thankfully the clients pay extra to have us on the horn at that hour.

BTW, you make the best stink faces!

  • Yoshi says:

    Holy hell, you’re brave.

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

The Buffalo Wing is seriously, seriously disgusting. I thought I actually was going to ralph.

  • JC says:

When I was young, my grandmother bought me a six-pack of Diet Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum-flavored soda. I was required to drink a can out of politeness; it was neon-pink, fizzy poison.

But there’s no contest – even without tasting it, this has just replaced that in my mind as the most revolting soda since time began.

  • Kat from Jersey says:

What twisted mind thought up the concept of meat-flavored soda, and actually thought people would like it? I wonder how much of this stuff they sell.

Coffee sode is actually really good. I’ve had a few brands that are quite delicious, especially if you put a bit of half-and-half in the glass! Kind of a Laverne DeFazio milk-and-pepsi kind of thing.

  • anotherkate says:

Was the sweet corn anything like cream soda?

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

It was like cream soda in that it was carbonated.

  • kategm says:

I may have been the only person on Planet Earth who actually kind of liked Pepsi Kona (coffee-flavored Pepsi) back in the day.
But you know, there are a reason most 12-year olds shouldn’t be in charge of decision-making.

I liked that at least one drink necessitated a straw. Did it help make the soda less gross?

  • Profreader says:

I could see coffee soda. But … Buffalo Wing … and ye gods … SWEET CORN SODA. Blerrrrrffff.

I once tried Dr. Brown’s Cel-Ray soda … I don’t drink soda anymore, but when I did, Dr. Brown’s was my favorite when I could get it. I like interesting flavors and I will try any oddball thing once.

Cel-Ray soda … well … euuugggghhhh. Really, truly vile.

I loved this video – is this first one or did I miss the earlier ones? I check in on the Revolting Snacks site every so often – makes me long for my 2 or 3-times-a-year road trips, when one of the goals is to find the snackfoods that no one’s ever heard of before…

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

@Profreader, click the Revolting Snacks tag; that should bring up the other, earlier versions (those are mostly about Peeps). More to come!
