It’s time to choose the tenth and final community we drop a bazillion dimes on during the contest. The poll is below, and includes a few entries from the original poll, plus some write-in candidates. Vote early, vote often, and share on social media. Thanks!

Pick our tenth Red Ops community target! (You can only vote for one this time.)

  • Henryville, IN (11%, 33 Votes)

Yeah! I’m so happy Fresno made the final cut! For any undecided voters out there, here is my final pitch. Fresno is located in California’s Central Valley located in between San Francisco and LA, in the inner part of the state. Fresno and the other surrounding cities are primarily agricultural and its largest industry. Even though Fresno is one of the largest cities in California, it struggles with some of the highest poverty and unemployment in the state (http://www.city-data.com/poverty/poverty-Fresno-California.html).

Fresno is my hometown and I have been supporting it through DonorsChoose (http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/search.html?keywords=fresno). There are a lot of great projects and extremely dedicated teachers trying to give Fresno’s students a chance at a better future through education. The amazing generosity of the Tomato Nation could make an unbelievable impact in Fresno. Thanks for considering making Fresno the 10th Community for Tomato Nation’s Red Ops!
