“I wrote 63 songs this year. They’re all about Jeter.” Just kidding. The game we love, the players we hate, and more.

Terms And Conditions May Apply

Let’s go out to the lobby, and get ourselves a Couch Baron, again! John Ramos produced another fine film, Terms And Conditions May Apply, and I’m super-happy to plug this one, because 1) it’s a documentary, my favorite genre; 2) I helped out a very little bit on it, and now I have another meeting-Margaret-Atwood story; and 3) it’s excellent and timely. You know all those screens you impatiently scroll past in order to update your iTunes password, access your credit-card points, or…well, do anything? TACMA is about those terms and conditions: how long it would take to read them all, what it means that we don’t, where we go from here.

Don’t take my word for it: Variety loved it, TwitchFilm loved it, and it’s sitting pretty on Rotten Tomatoes.

Where can you see it? Starting tomorrow (Friday, July 12), you can see it at Quad Cinemas, but better hurry — it’s only there ’til the 18th (six shows a day; ticket link with times is right here).

Where can you see me and/or John? He’s at the evening showings all weekend, and you should especially try to check out the Friday/Saturday 8 PM times, because those have panel discussions afterwards with folks from the film, privacy experts, and one Q&A with Cullen Hoback, the director, on Saturday at 6:15.

Hope I’ll see you there!
