And the end of summer means…well, a few things, including back-to-school shopping, which I still do every year even though school is half a lifetime ago. I cannot resist the lure of new notebooks and organizing tools, and MZS’s neighbors tipped me to 1) cheap, chic school stuff at Muji (“the Japanese Ikea”); and 2) a big summer sale at Container Store. My spies also told me that you can say you’re shopping for college and get another 10% off just by signing up for a mailing; they don’t ask for proof or anything. I’m not saying you should or should not do so; I’m saying we’re in a recession.

I’m not sure what it says about me that I actually got goose bumps when I read the phrase “sale at Container Store.” I would sell my soul to the devil for the right storage system… fibbing about going to college? Done.
Darn you Sars! Every time I go to Donor’s Choose I end up funding some project! I hold you entirely responsible. :) But I still intend to donate towards your TN challenge- and I can’t wait to see how you outdo yourself this year.

Ah! Muji! When we were in NYC we stopped by there. Oh how I loved it.I am a SUCKER for that kind of office supply/organizer/IKEA-ish type stuff. I wish we had one closer or they sold online!! :)

I think I would have ended the montage with the Hungarian guy yelling “I’m telling you it’s Keyzer Soze!” But that’s just me, and I definitely trust MZS’s critical faculties more than mine.
