It’s fairly informative on a technical level, which is a nice change, and it’s not all annoyingly “let me tell you about my experience with blah dee blah” like a lot of writing in this genre. (Yes, I mean William Goldman. No, I don’t see what’s so brilliant about Adventures in the Screen Trade, which I couldn’t even finish. So much for my shining future in Hollywood, I guess.)
