Team Supersnack: Kicking AIDS In The Balls
Once again, Team Supersnack is fixing to thump AIDS in the goolies on the New York City AIDS Walk. We’ve got a hefty fund-raising goal this year — $50,000 — and I myself have taken on $2,200 of that burden. I would love your help, if you can spare a few bucks, not just because it’s an important cause to me but because our team leader, Angela, 1) is really rad at organizing all of us each year, with the benefit and the encouraging emails and everything; 2) is really hilarious at blogging about her pets and looking hot in Goth drag; and 3) is the special lady friend of the long-suffering Zach of Donors Choose (that’s not why he’s long-suffering; we just sent him kind of a lot of emails during the contest. Like 17 billion. So he’s probably going to kick me in the balls at my birthday tomorrow for putting him through that). Angela bravely put the ceiling at fifty grand, and I for one would really like to justify her belief in us as a team.
Anyway: AIDS needs to get off our collective lawn, people. If you wouldn’t mind having a look at my page and spending a few dollars, I’d appreciate it — and all you AIDS Walkers in other cities, drop me a line and I’ll help you out. The email is bunting at tomatonation dot com. And if by some chance I’ve hit my limit by the time you get there, you can always donate to Supersnack as a team.
Thanks. (And whatever the opposite of a balls-kick is to those who have already donated. Your support is really appreciated.)
