The Dewey Donation System Annual Book Drive

Submitted by on February 21, 2008 – 1:05 PMNo Comment

It’s time once again for the annual Dewey Donation System book drive. My mom used to tell me, “Books are treasures,” and it may have been her profound aversion to the sight of a hardcover left open face-down that usually prompted the sentiment, it’s still true. The DDS is helping out two different organizations: the Children’s Institute, and the Rockhouse Foundation. You can read all about them, and get information on how to donate, at the link above.

Nobody knows better than Tomato Nation readers what a big difference books can make, so please head over to Dewey’s page and see how you can help — whether it’s books, cash, or donating a prize like so many of you awesome peeps did for the TN contest.

You can also show your support in shirt form. T-shirt weather is coming, so consider adding another piece of Glarkware to your collection.
