It’s long, it’s dull, Julie Andrews and Paul Newman have about as much chemistry as two stale cookies — and the score is completely nutty, too, with a bunch of chirpy oboes and blatty horns that don’t seem to have anything to do with what’s happening plot-wise.Not worth seeing unless you have a master’s to write on Hitchcock.(1/19/04)
