Day Saved: What’s Next?

Submitted by on May 2, 2011 – 12:09 PM5 Comments

Once again: $154,136. 1,374 donors. 138,709 students reached. Consider that tall building leapt.

Next up, of course, is the prizing phase. That takes a few days to set up for, so stay tuned to the homepage here for further updates. Just a reminder: YOU DO NOT NEED TO FORWARD ME A RECEIPT TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE MAIN PRIZING PHASE. Your donation to any leaderboard project automatically entered you.

    Hi Sarah,
I know you are busy and the official TN Campaign is over, but I was wondering if you would give some buzz to a recent donation I received of a $100 gift card to the person who brings in the most donations to my “Military Families” Donors Choose project. Here is the quote from my donor who has already given a generous donation, plus the gift card.

“In a time where our servicemen and women are defending the freedoms that each of us enjoy, their children are missing their parent or parents. Make a difference for deployment group children. Small donations add up in a hurry when you help spread the word”.
    Here is my project:

Let me know what you think. Thanks for all that you did. Debby

Courtesy of Eric and Cheryle Scheppan, WIN A $100 Donors Choose Gift Code if you are the person who brings the most donors to my project, “RED, WHITE and BLUBERRy Muffins and Books for Military Kids!” by this Saturday (May 7) at midnight ET. The amount of the donation doesn’t matter, but the number of donors do. In order to qualify, donors need to say “I donated because asked me to support Ms. G.’s project. Tomato Nation is still harvesting some very ripe tomatoes!

    A great $10 investment http://ht.ly/4MqdO

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and ConnCAN believes it’s important to pause and recognize the incredible contributions of teachers all across Connecticut. So we want to give you the opportunity to support an extraordinary teacher’s classroom project. Thanks to two very generous ConnCAN donors, the first 200 individuals who support ConnCAN in May with a gift of at least $10 will receive a DonorsChoose.org gift code for $50 to support the project of their choice!
