Red Ops: Mission Accomplished
Apologies for the updating delay! Had a few connectivity issues (and periodontal issues…blegh) last week, just getting caught up now.
But this isn’t news: you guys did awesome. The Red Ops drive raised close to 40K for high-need schools across the country. Nice!
Now I’ve got some prizes to give away — even nicer! Here’s how that’ll work:
1. You’ll get an email from me notifying you that you’ve won a Red Ops prize.
2. Please read the entire email carefully, and follow the instructions therein (you’ll have to rank the list of prizes in order of your preference, then send the list back to me at a specified time).
3. If you have questions or don’t wish to claim a prize, please get back to me ASAP.
4. Prizes will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis. If you’ve won a daily prize, you’re still eligible.
If you didn’t get an email from me noting that your receipt was logged, YOU ARE NOT ENTERED FOR PRIZING. Please forward those receipts to bunting at tomatonation dot com by Monday 11 June, 11:59 PM ET. (Think you already forwarded it? Just forward it again, NBD.)
Other, non-prize stuff:
You can continue donating to various projects and pages if you’d like, but I won’t be adding any more projects until our next drive.
Thank you so much to everyone who donated, shared on social media, and donated prizes — and big thanks to Jenny and Katie at DC.org for all their help with coordinating! (And Super Dave for another rad logo.)
Questions, ask ’em. Otherwise, get ready to win some stuff.

Sars, you are awesome as well. Just needs to be said. How many people think “I really ought to do something”, and then do it? You’re a mensch.
Thanks for organizing another great drive. You rawk!
I really do look forward to giving away this money every year! Thank you to Sars and to the Nation.
If anyone still has some cash left over, or missed a day of the contest, there are still projects on the Red Ops list (http://www.donorschoose.org/red-ops) that aren’t closed: 7 in the WV panhandle; 3 in Albuquerque; 2 in Joplin; 10 in Buffalo; 3 in Detroit; 3 in Camden; 1 in Northridge/Dayton; 8 in Columbia; and 9 in the Dakotas.
This is one I supported that remains unfunded: http://tinyurl.com/7w6qgz5. This teacher wants to buy books to help her students prepare for standardized testing. Not sexy, but high stakes for students & teachers these days.
Thank you so much for your support of donors choose!

Hey everybody,
If you are still looking to help get a project funded on donorschoose, my class needs just $384 to get our project funded! Everything helps, so if you aren’t able to donate funds, please donate a few seconds of your time and forward this link on to others!
