$83,263 right now. Daaaaaaang.
Also: mini-prize! Awesome reader Jess has offered the following prizes to any reader who donates to “Crochet Club”: a dark-grey-and-white knitted stocking cap/beanie as a main mini-prize, plus 2 knitted dishclothsand 2 knitted dish scrubbers as runner-up mini-prizes. So that’s five (5) prizes in all. Yarn’t you glad you donated?
(Don’t get up; I’ll let myself out.)

aw don’t be so DARN hard on yourself. No point in NEEDLING yourself.
84.3! You guys are a stitch!
I think we are showing great moral fiber. (Kind of a stretch, I know…)
Let’s throw some in for the SKEINS!
We’re all a little loopy, I suppose.
I was looking at this one this afternoon – it’s such a great idea. (I feel like I should add a pun but my brain has stopped functioning even at that level).
Oh, my God.
You guys — you AWESOME DUDES — have completely funded my alma mater’s project, http://tinyurl.com/4yhheg , before I had a chance to. And now my roommates think I’m crazy because I’m staring at the computer and sniffling.
This is so amazing, you guys. I went looking for this project to post a link to it, and when I found it there it was, fully funded. I am SO HAPPY.
How long do you think we can string this along?
(…what? It’s past my bedtime!)
This year’s challenge is blowing my mind on a daily basis.
Aw, you guys SEAM SEW funny to us..
85.1!
Also: that’s 10K in a day. Hell of a day at sea, sir!
Hi!
I don’t think I mentioned at the time, but I donated to a couple of projects a few weeks ago. I also posted about this on my livejournal (http://tiny-little-dot.livejournal.com/77946.html), then, and have now posted about it on my new blog (http://claire.pnn.com/articles/show/28856-a-few-good-causes). I hope my efforts elicit at least a few more donations!
Nice work, Claire! Although … I guess that ties off our orgy of puns.
We’re HOOKED, that’s for sure.
Whoo! Crochet Club funded! Good job peeps! I’m a happy hooker.
“Happy hooker.” Tee hee.
In other news, I was so happy this morning to see that Healthy High Schoolers (the anti-viral kleenex one) got funded that I made a new donation, this time to “Teaching with a Television.” Go, educational TV for kiddos!
I would like to make a pitch (can I tie that to needlework somehow? Not sure…) for the mass adoption of the Disc Golf project now! This is a really fun sport, very accessible (most courses are free) and the supplies are pretty inexpensive, too. Plus it’s a great workout – what a great thing for young’uns to adopt!
It has over $1,000 left to fund it – so that can look a bit intimidating, I know.

Yay! Congrats on getting Crochet Club funded!
You all ROCK! :) I can’t wait to send out the mini-prizes!
These purls of wisdom are so inspiring…..
What? It was the best I could do!
