Baseball

“I wrote 63 songs this year. They’re all about Jeter.” Just kidding. The game we love, the players we hate, and more.

But you might want to, FINALLY.

Writing: I reviewed the weirdly prescient The Klansman (oh, you’ll see) for Sports On Earth. Over at Previously.TV, I despaired of the Sex & The City three-quel rumors; overviewed the Project Runway All-Stars finale; ranked the Revenge characters according to an Evil Plan-dex; and took you through the finale fart faces of Hostages.

At The Blotter, I reviewed Long-Island prostitute-case investigation Lost Girls (loved it) and Lincoln-assassination deep-dive Blood on the Moon (not s’much).

Reading: Like AN IDIOT, I told Goodreads I’m trying to read 26 books this year, and I’ve finished…one. And now I’m in the middle of like seven others, but the main one is a stilted academic bio of John Wilkes Booth as an actor called Lust For Fame which is exhaustive in every sense of that word. Every time an entire page is taken up by a handbill, I cheer.

TN Prom: You in? Get in. Do it soon; I’m locking down arrangements this week.
