A quick preview: in May 2011, 28,200 unique visitors came to the site (three-month average: 31,000 uniques), and created over a million pageviews. 91% of TN readers are ladies (although they may not be lady-like; you’d have to ask ’em); 53% are in their 30s; 80% live in a city of more than 50,000 people; 31% make more than $75,000 a year; 22% have at least one child, and 65% have at least one pet; 70% enjoy an alcoholic beverage at least once a week; 82% watch at least one movie a week; and 99% shop online.
Blogroll placement: $60/month, $600/year
Text link(s): $16/month, $180/year for up to 3; 4-6, $30/month, $330/year
You can place a text link in any story. Use existing text, or provide a framing sentence or two.
Dedicated story: $50/one-time, $100/month
A dedicated story is a headline or feature story that appears above the fold — in other words, the main story (headline) or one of the four stories beside it (features). A sponsorship of one of these spots runs with a graphic as well as text, which you can write yourself or let me put together for you, and guarantees exposure to homepage visitors.
If you select a one-time sponsorship of this type, you can expect to see the ad above the fold for about one week; after that, it will rotate down through the homepage content, and be removed when it falls off the homepage.
If you select a monthly buy, the ad will remain above the fold (space permitting*) for the duration of your buy, and be removed at or around midnight ET on the last day.
Exclusive dedicated story: $125/one-time, $250/month
Your dedicated-story ad is the only one of its type on the homepage for the duration of your buy. (Limit 6 months.)
Other ad runs: cost TBN
You can sponsor a month of Vine letters; you can sponsor baseball-related content only; you can place links on the most-commented pages, or on popular pieces from the archives; anything you want to try, we can discuss.
I’d love to work with you. Drop me a line to talk about your product, service, and/or sponsorship fantasy at bunting at tomatonation dot com.
*If space is a concern for a dedicated-story ad, you’ll be alerted when we discuss your sponsorship.
I like the hint at a correlation between our enjoyment of adult beverages and online shopping habits. I, for one, find it much easier to buy a bathing suit online after I’ve had a drink (…or two).
