Color fat-ography

It’s surprisingly difficult to take a picture of Little Joe that gives a realistic idea of his sphericality. …No, not because you have to take the pictures from space, although I understand why you might have answered thusly. I don’t actually know why. I took oodles of pix, and in most of them, he looks kind of big, or sort of round, or blurry because he’s trying to bat the camera strap, but not as big or as round as he really is. And he is very big and perfectly round. And fat. Very, very fat.

I’ll keep trying — he looks extra circular from above, but it’s tough to capture without getting my frumpy slippers in the shot — but for now, you’ll have to settle for a sneak preview of our upcoming feature, My Head Only Looks Tiny Because I Am, As You May Have Heard On The Internet, Quite Fat. Photo after the jump.

Margaret in CO: Pancho says many thanks for the extra hugs! And yeah, the trill? So cute. You see this enormo cat, right? He comes lumbering up to you and you think it’s going to be all rumbly growl at you and this tweet comes out. *snort* “Oooo, scaaaaarrryyy kitty. Ooo. Yuh huh.”

That is truly a fat cat. Still highly lovable, though. :)

Well, I think one of the limitations of photography in depicting the roundness of objects is that you are trying to make a 3 dimensional object conform to 2 dimensions. That’s why globes are more accurate than flat maps.

Also, that cat is HUUUUUGGGE! He has his own weather system! He’ll cry himself to sleep tonight on his gigantic pillow! (Mike Myers, So I Married An Axe Murderer) He is really cute though.

He’s a big DOLL! I have a 17.5lb boy at home myself, and he’s just a round ball of love. He was 20lbs then he was diagnosed with diabetes almost 2 years ago. Diabetes isn’t a death sentence which we have found out, he gets 2 insulin injections per day, and some very healthy high-fiber cat food, and he’s doing WONDERFUL! Chubby kitties are so cuddly and sweet! Just please watch him and if he starts becoming obsessed w/ drinking water, take him to the vet.

Also I have done a lot of research in the cat food department, feel free to email me if you have any questions.

He’s just Precious! You are a good mom :)
