The Vine: June 17, 2000
And now, a member of the theater community comments on a previous letter…
As a theatrical director and producer, let me just pass on to you that the girl in [yesterday’s] Vine shouldn’t put herself in debt for grad school. If grad school is very important to her, then she should pursue it, but in her chosen field of drama, it is not very important.
A few years of auditions and shows would teach her SO MUCH MORE than grad school ever would.Practical experience is where it’s at.
Just my opinion, take it for what it is worth.
