Guyz Nite in the Timez

Submitted by on June 25, 2007 – 8:32 AM8 Comments

Mr. S, Gen, Skyrockets, and I have been trying to get together for dinner for like a month and a half, and it fell through again on Friday…because Mr. S had to go to the Live Free or Die Hard premiere. In Guyz Nite drag. And get interviewed for this New York Times article. Pretty good excuse but he’d better not try using it again. Heh.

If you want to dig the GN flavor for yourselves, they’ve got a show at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, Wednesday July 4. I will be there and you should be too.

ROFL! Both the video and the song are completely awesome!!! HEE!! I listened to all the other stuff, too and I’m going to have to pass this along to all my friends. They’re all a bunch of Frat boys, so they’ll completely love Guyz Nite. :D I have to ask, though, which one is Mr. S?

  • Sars says:

Bear Woods (on bass, I believe).

  • Margaret in CO says:

    Your brother is HOT.

(Hee – I only said that to squick you out.)

AWESOME!!! How often does THAT happen?!?! It’s a testament to Guyz Nite’s talent!

  • Miranda says:

Funny shit, that. Do they have a CD? I wish I lived close enough to come to the show, but Oregon? Yeah, not so much in commuting distance. :-)

  • Nils says:

Did a lil piece and a link to their MySpace and the video. It’s truly terrific stuff … thanks for showing us.

  • Gunz Mick Bones says:

hey sarah. not to knit-pick, but i play the bass, bear plays lead rhythm guitar. thanks, again, for the shout-out!

  • Sars says:

I always think he’s lead rhythm and then I second-guess myself. See you Wednesday.

  • Abbie says:

I went to the Die Hard premiere in London and they played the song at the after party. I laughed so hard. Especially because they had hired interpretive/go-go dancers (who were made up to look sweaty/greasy/bloody w/ ripped clothes a la B. Willis) who had to dance to it.
