It’s not long until we hit 60K; I know it’s a holiday Monday, but let’s continue to apply the pressure. Today’s challenge: “Baby It’s Cold Outside!!!” Please give Chicago schoolchildren the gift of ping-pong — and if you forward me your receipts by 11:59 PM ET tonight, I will keep you warm with one of two (2) $10 gift certificates to 800wine.com!

I donated to 2 projects on Friday and when I logged in today, I had emails waiting for me that both have already been fully funded! Brightened my monday morning RIGHT UP.
I love that we fund these projects that are expiring soon and need lots of money. Many of these teachers had probably given up on getting funded since they’ve been sitting there with no donations for months. And then we come along!

Aw, I actually donated to this one early this morning, but then I haven’t checked the website since I was working and I didn’t get a chance to forward my receipt for the mini-price. I guess that means I’ll just *have* to donate to something else. How fortuitous.
