It’s the weekend.   I’ll be engaging in the weekendiest of activities — going to a wedding — but I’ve found a few other weekend-activity-ish projects you may care to donate to in the meantime: making waffles in Milwaukee; playing basketball in L.A.; curling up with a good book in Houston; and bowling in the Big Apple.

My good friend and business partner Solly Sweet Music is getting married today.   In honor of him, his wonderful bride, and his seldom-used but still formidable viola skills, I have pitched in to buy some kids some cellos.   The school is near where I live; these instruments ain’t cheap.   Please consider hucking ten bucks in the direction of the music.

Thank you again for everything you do.   Fitty grand is in sight; this is a job well done.   Congratulations.

I’m by no means rich but I’m having mad fun donating $5 each to a bunch of different projects throughout the month. So far I’ve helped fund history books, telescopes, and cellos! And the month isn’t even half over!

i played the cello for 9 years, and when i saw this challenge, i couldn’t resist! the fact that they’re for special needs children only makes it better. SARS, thank you again for organizing this – you rock!
