71K plus, folks!   Awesome work.   I credit Nikolai.   (hee.   Really, I credit you.)

Ten-odd days to go; four thousand until we hit the match.   Haven’t donated yet?   Now’s the perfect time — and you can still pick up a free sticker (or a Hemingway book) if you donate to the “Old Man and the Level Threes” project.

Oh, and we’ve reached over 10,000 students.   TEN THOUSAND.

You may as well credit Nikolai! More than one person (myself included) has donated in his honor. I guess poor abandoned lion-tsars make us even more charitable.

  • Academic says:

There definitely seems to be a Nikolai effect! That and Tomato Nation’s awesomeness. GO TOMATOES! GO GO TOMATOES!

  • MarieD says:

I just got paid and had a bit of a bonus this month, so I’ll definitely be donating more!

  • Margaret in CO says:

The Level Threes got thier Old Man! WOOHOO!!!
AND the “fully fundeds” start on PAGE FIVE! WOOHOO!!! (Bet we can get that up to page three today!)

    Gonna go donate some more…

I’ve emailed a few friends and acquaintances with this exciting opportunity to be charitable. Hopefully a few more drops in the bucket will help get to that $75k mark. Gah, I can’t believe poor Ms. G can’t buy freakin’ Kleenex for her classroom! (That proposal’s titled Healthy High Schoolers, if anyone’s interested. It still needs funds big-time!)
