Faces of Death

Uh…okay, then. I also watched the FOD: Fact or Fiction “documentary” afterwards, and based on the clips in that, the sequels had much gorier footage, so I don’t feel quite so weird about having almost no reaction to the movie, but really…so much of it is obviously faked, or just not really that shocking, and then there’s the jaunty music that plays over the alleged gas chamber scene…? Did people think this was really viscerally awful when it came out? Because I got grossed out a couple of times, but mostly it just seemed kitschy to me. (4/12/04)
