Baseball

“I wrote 63 songs this year. They’re all about Jeter.” Just kidding. The game we love, the players we hate, and more.

Going In Circles: Live Chat

Submitted by on June 29, 2010 – 8:31 PM9 Comments

Pepper Pamela Ribon with questions live: Wednesday 30 June at 7:30 PM ET.

You should see the chat window below; it actually works more like a live blog. You’ll ask your questions in the comments area, and I’ll put various ones through to Pamie for answering. I don’t believe you need to create an account to watch or participate in the chat. Any questions, hit the comments, or email me at bunting at tomatonation dot com.

Okay, I’m dumb. 7:30 ET is about 4:30 here on the west coast, right? Or is it the opposite? I don’t want to miss out.

  • Mertseger says:

Darn: right in the middle of my commute. Have fun everybody!

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

7:30 ET is 4:30 ET, yes.

@Mertseger, I believe there’s an instant-replay function, so you can watch it after it’s over (provided I can get it to work, heh).

Am I being a lame-brain or is the live chat not working for others as well?
I can see the “click here” arrow and when I click on it it takes me to the “Cover It Live” site but I just get a bunch of ads.

    WTF am I doing wrong?

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

@Duchess: Sorry, I just got this. It got kind of chaotic. Did you manage to get in in the end? And can you see the replay now?

  • Roberta says:

Thanks, Sarah and Pamie, for the chat. So much fun, such a great read, I’m just squeeing all over. And since I wasn’t all that familiar with Pamie’s work before this, I still have two more books to read and 12 years of blogging to catch up on. Yay.

And next year when I see the roller derby finals at the State Fair, I may actually have some kind of clue as to what’s happening.

  • Alyce says:

I’m so glad I was able to replay it. Almost like I was there the first time. Thanks for doing this!

  • Rachel says:

Maaaaan, I am so bummed I missed this, but it was hilarious to read on the replay. Thanks Sarah and Pam for setting it up and being generally all-around awesome!
