I don’t seem to be able to vote – it just keeps showing the 598 to 593. I’ve changed browsers, but that’s not it – any ideas?

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

Had you voted before? Because it’s the same poll, so it probably remembers you.

  • Chris says:

Yeah, I just get results, too. I voted before, so I guess a new poll is the only way to vote again, for a runoff.

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

Okay, give me a minute to reset here.

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

    …Should work now.

  • Amalthea says:

    Working now!

Oh crap, am I going to be sitting here refreshing this all day at work? Come on, Kit-Kat, you can DO IT!

  • mosprott says:

    it works! Thanks!

  • Mike says:

If M&Ms don’t make it to the final four, I will have lost faith in all of the chocolate-eating humanity.

  • StillAnotherKate says:

My first time to this post since it went up and it says I already voted. How will the M&Ms pull it off without me???

  • RJ says:

    @ Mike – I agree!! I can’t believe it’s even this close!

  • nsfinch says:

This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my entire life.

  • Leigh in CO says:

I’m with Mike. No M&Ms in the final four would be…deeply saddening. I need to go round up some M&M peeps to stuff the ballot box.

  • TashiAnn says:

I just do not understand how M&M’s can be behind. This is insanity. Stop the Madness!

  • Margaret in CO says:

Sorry, Mike…had to vote for the KitKat.

We each got a KitKat if our babysitter didn’t run screaming into the night, so KitKat=Love & Approval. Gotta vote for love, right?

  • Rebecca U says:

M&Ms at 51% right now. I’m good with either, but prefer M&Ms overall.

  • Rebecca says:

Why all this M&M love? Without peanuts, they’re just bits of chocolate with a candy coating tragically inferior to the British Smarties. I’ll eat ’em, sure, but if someone offers me a Kit Kat instead of a bag of M&Ms I’m not taking the M&Ms.

  • Beadgirl says:

M&Ms all the way. Especially since courtesy of another poster, I discovered coconut M&Ms. Yum yum yum. Plus M&Ms are fun to eat — I always sort by color, and create little groups with one color each. And M&Ms have been instrumental in toilet-training Beadboy2.

Chocolate, entertainment, toilet-training bribery . . . is there anything they can’t do?

  • LLyzabeth says:

Good lord, Kit Kat’s up by four votes. FOUR. C’mon M&M’s, you can do it! For the sake of the game my sisters and I played where the different colors were different foods (light brown are bread, green are vegetables, red are fruit, and dark brown…dessert! What? We were like, 11 and 5. It was clever!)

  • mo pie says:

Peanut-less M&Ms suck. Go, Kit Kat!

  • Mary says:

    KAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!

  • meltina says:

    Dear Kit Kat detractors,

Kit Kat is not that bad. It has crispy wafers, and chocolate. It is preferable to chocolate and almost rubberized candy coating. Plus, if you have access to one of those import markets, or have traveled through other countries, the flavor combinations you can load a limited edition kit kat are almost endless. M&M is just… a candy coated pinch of chocolate, how quaint. I’d rather have hershey’s kisses. =P

  • Keckler says:

“Pinch of chocolate” — I love that description.

  • Bo says:

Oooh. I missed this somehow. Boo KitKat!

  • RJ says:

@ Margaret – funny! And now I want a Kit Kat. Sorry, M&M’s… I still love you!
