Persepolis 2

I adored it.   Not quite as much as the first one, but I don’t think I adore any book as much as I do the first one, and as I did when I finished the first one, I felt sad — that’s it?   It’s over?   But…but what happens next?   If you haven’t read these, I urge you to; her writing is touching and funny, and her drawing is simple but evocative.   She’s really great.   (9/21/04)
