I just got my thank you letters from the project I polished off (parachutes for parapalegics). I’ve already won. Already shed a few tears too…. Sniff.
First, yay! And second, ‘The Great Amandsby’? made me snort! I love that title most of all.
Holy smokes – how did I miss The Big Kahuna getting funded 5 days ago? Wahoooo!!
Today I got to see Sars in her tomato car as she swung by to pick up some of the above-noted prizes. I was less-than-chic in my apartment-packing outfit, but she’d never mention it. Because? She is awesome.

Incidentally, we read that book when I was a junior in high school. We had “Gatsby Day” and everything – people (myself included) went to school dressed as flappers and all.
Just got an email back from Zach in regards to the gift cards. The plan is that they will be going out via email early next week!

I received my HP giving card today. I managed to hold onto it for a whole 25 minutes (while I searched through the remaining projects) then spent the whole thing!
