degrassi_manny_emmaWell, well, well.   $81,274! The thanks of a grateful Nation go to $ and His Mysterians for the 5K match we got at $75,000 — and of course to all 740 of you who have donated so far.

The Great And Powerful Asirda is quite touched and impressed with your work so far…so much so, in fact, that she’s mulling an increase in our 90K match. Stay tuned for more details.

Haven’t donated yet?   Consider it!   We’ve got a lot of ground to cover — and I’ve got a wagonload of loot to give away, thanks to your generous and creative fellow readers.   Cookies!   Video games!   A tiny fiddle!   And winning a mini-prize doesn’t mean you can’t win a famous original prize; you totally can.

Speaking of mini-prizes: boy, have I got some sweetness for you today.   Donate to any project you would like and you could win a $50 e-certificate to Zappos, OR one of five (5) Degrassi shirts, compliments of the well-connected and rad Duana T. No day like today, eh?   As usz: forward me your receipts for any donation made today by 11:59 PM ET.
