Another wonderful day to donate! And hello to Amanda!

Oh lord, Lost in America! “You are no longer allowed to say the words nest or egg!” I love Albert Brooks. :) Real Life is one of my favorite movies ever.

Mrs. T wants to be able to show her students where all the donors are from for this wonderful map project. So if there are any other international donors out there, consider this and writing your location in the comment box. So far Norway (me) and Israel (Rebecca) are on the list. Any others. http://www.donorschoose.org/donors/proposal.html?id=316089&challengeid=23248

30K is very close, friends. Let’s push.

  • ADS says:

Sorry, I killed that map project, and I’m just from Brooklyn. Didn’t realize we were doing an international thing. I just like maps, and I was lousy at geography, since New York kids see no reason to know where other stuff is.

  • charmaine says:

@ADS Glad to see it funded. And I loved your message! No worries, who knows if anyone else would have seen the comment. Happy donating everyone

  • Sarah D. Bunting says:

    From Mrs. T:

“I cannot ever fully express how grateful I am by your unbelievable generosity to a complete stranger and her students. Your kindness will be shared with students for many years to come as our maps will benefit each and every class that crosses my path. Just today, we began a Social Studies unit that would have gone so much better if only I had a wall map to show my students. Your gift will enhance so many activities in our classroom and I can guarantee they will be used each and every day. We will work to have a greater understanding of our world, and the first thing we will do will be to locate where our generous donors are in the world. Like I said before, I can never fully express my thanks to you, but please know that your compassion will never be forgotten.”
