The overarching theme of the projects is the peppy use of punctuation in the titles…or at least that’s the arbitrary theme we’ve elected to assign. We had quite a productive weekend, but here it is the 19th already; time grows short. We can hit that goal, but we all have to get in the traces and pull. All of us together will get this done, and those who have already donated have accomplished a huge amount — but it’s a big job. If you haven’t donated yet, help us finish it. We Need To Chill–FUNDED
We need to chill… has been funded! I got the thank you email this morning – an excellent start to the day!
Every day I look at the fund raising totals the people who read this blog put up, I am amazed and astounded by the generosity of everyone here. Over half of the projects have already been funded, and with the next matching money at 75K, rest of the projects that expire in October can be fully funded. Let’s keep it going!
By my count over 260 projects are funded, but not half of them (that is 320+).

Also? A ton of money just came in for that big weather station project – it started the day needing over $1,600, and now it needs under $400. Suddenly it feels totally do-able. I have no idea what made that giant corporate donation come in just now, but I have to believe it has something to do with the support that you all have shown the project.
In Ms. B’s project description, she tells us this about her school – but I think it also describes you, the donors who are helping this project: “Many times society will look the other way for students who become difficult and prove too challenging to manage. We embrace these students and continue to try different teaching tools until we reach them.”
Sniff. And of course, awesome.
