Ten years ago, Tomato Nation and Donors Choose joined forces for the first time, bringing Orwell and Salinger and Alcott to classrooms in NYC. A lot has changed since the halcyon days of collecting your donations via PayPal and sending them to DC HQ via passenger pigeon. Two things, though, remain the same.
1. Kids need school supplies.
2. Tomato Nation readers are the best.
It’s all about the Hamiltons, friends. Stay tuned.

Out of many, TOMATO! Hee! I can’t even express how that delights me.
Also, too: Hamilton is my favorite of the dudes on the bills. Just sayin’.
Good thing too because I now have two cats and I don’t think a passenger pigeon would last a hot minute in my house!
Ten years ago? Wow. I’ve been hoarding my monthly donation credits. Excellent timing.
