Tomato Dance: The Early Girl Has Landed

Submitted by on November 2, 2007 – 11:22 AM23 Comments

Apparently I made the NBC internal feed; I think you may be able to see me on feeds in later time zones. Mr. S was singing the 30 Rock song and I was doing a little dance.

It is now 11:20; I am leaving for parts Starbucks in 10 minutes.   This is the Starbucks in the bottom of 30 Rock, near the rink/Sea Grill.

Did anyone point out the October 27th nod to Sars at Fametastic.co.uk? I linked it in the Website box (I think you can just click on my name to view).

  • Shotrock says:

How long did it take you to get down there, Sars? I took off running from my office at 1290 exactly at 11:30 and hung around Starbuck’s until 11:50. I just figured I missed you but maybe you got delayed?

I’ll try again at The Actual Dance. I’m here in RC with a camera, and if I miss you completely I will kick myself for days.

Early Girl, eh??? I would have expected you to come out as more of a Moneymaker!

  • mctwin says:

What do your co-workers and direct boss think about this whole thing? Were they prepared for the wonderful wackiness or did you just SPRING it on them!?

BTW, *Early Girl* HEE!! I got it! and I don’t eat tomatos!

  • Sars says:

Sorry! I got held up by a phone call.

Maybe this will make it up to you: http://www.flickr.com/photos/86277856@N00/1828468222/

  • liz_isabella says:

Fantastic. And I have to say that only you, Sars, could pull off a bad ass “What you looking at punk?” expression in full tomato gear.

    I applaud you.

  • seedless grape says:

Eeeee, I love it! More pictures, please! You look terrific!

  • Jaybird says:

Nothin’ says “TCB” like a serious-lookin’ tomato.

  • upstairs girl says:

Holy crap, the hat is AWESOME.

  • 45 is the new 30 says:

Lordy! Is that outfit “sittable” or must you stand all day?

Thanks for posting that most excellent photo op (and also, you know, for being you and rocking the casbah and all). You look tres awesome, woman!! What did you decide re: footwear? (The photo doesn’t show your tomato feet.)

Looking forward to more pictures and reports …

  • Cindi in CO says:

You are such a bad ass Sars!

  • Amanda Cournoyer says:

Holy crap, Sars, you weren’t kidding about the hat. Awesome!

  • Katie says:

I’m about to leave for the Dance!! I’m so excited!

  • Tisha_ says:

LOL This is awesome! Love the pic!

(I have the same monitor and keyboard as the TWoPers!)

  • Marianne says:

I just looked at that flickr picture, and I actually can’t think of appropriate words to describe the awesomeness.

  • Diva says:

10 minutes to THE DANCE and I really wish I had spent more time honing my teleporting skills. :) You look great sister – shake your tambourine!

  • llyzabeth says:

Do we have a TomatoDance sighting yet? Those of us way out on the west coast appreciate any comments, photos, guffawing, etc that anybody can post.

  • Glark says:

Ha ha! That was awesome Sarah. I forgot to bring my card reader so I’ll post up my pics on glark.org tonight. Huzzah!

P.S. Loved the random old guy picture op and the creepy dude who offered to ‘take a bite out of that apple’.

  • Julie says:

Ha ha ha! You look fantastic…and somehow, vaguely delicious.

  • Michelle says:

Oh that picture is great. Delicious, even, you could say. I’m now feeling a tiny bit better about my plans to take the train up from South Jersey… where I just moved… and haven’t managed to sneak away to NYC once yet… argh!… having been foiled by needy clients.

Also: Most eager for video. Can’t wait.

  • Jenny says:

The leafy hat totally made the costume (and my day)!
I’m eagerly anticipating the video and, hopefully, pictures of the cats reacting to the costume.

    Hi, Lucy from Fametastic here.

I’ve been reading TN for years and was desperate for a Claire Danes story to come up during the challenge so I could add a link – shame it came a little to late to really help out :)

I’m in the tomato hat fanclub too and can’t wait for the dance video.

    Viva la Sars!
