Awww.   The tsar is doing very well; his thyroid is back to functioning at normal levels, and he’s even put on some weight.   Thanks for the update, Leila and Matt.

What a little fuzzpot! Huzzah for the furry orange Tsar!

  • Nicole says:

LOVE IT! So many similarities to my Edgar’s story — thyroid, abandoned, orange, long-haired! Sars, you’re fabulous for many reasons, but this one might be the best.

  • robin says:

Further proof (as if any were needed) that orange tiger cats are the true rulers of the planet. Long live the Tsar, and the servants who attend him!

  • Maura says:

Kitty! I’m so happy he’s doing well and lounging around in the manner he deserves.

robin said: “Further proof (as if any were needed) that orange tiger cats are the true rulers of the planet. Long live the Tsar, and the servants who attend him!”

Agreed, robin. What is it about orange cats? They not only rule our planet, but their home world as well. Nikolai is probably communicating with the mother ship while pretending to snooze.

  • SarahW says:

Aw!!! I wish my kitties had that much sunshine to bask in. Sadly, my new apartment got shafted on the whole “natural light” thing. I hope they’re not mad at me for moving there!

  • La BellaDonna says:

That is the PERFECT belly for whuffling. It would be totally worth the bop on the nose I would get, too.

There really IS something about orange kitties, isn’t there? So loving. That’s probably why my Dommie (a tuxedo cat, all the way) used to bring me orange kittens. Yup, more than once. “Look, Mom! Just what you needed! Another child to raise!” A very curious pastime for an adult male cat.

  • Krissa says:

@La Bell – But where did he keep finding them?! That is funny.

  • Princess Leah says:

@La BellaDonna: Aw! That is so sweet! Dommie obviously recognized the superior nature of orange kitties and wanted to share the wonder that is them with you.

  • La BellaDonna says:

@Krissa: I’m not entirely certain. I can’t help wondering if he had something to do with the PRODUCTION of those little orange kittens; he was a full-grown adult when he came into my life, and he’d been living outside for a while. It took a few months to get him into the vet’s for the *snip*, and meanwhile? Orange kittens!

@Princess Leah: heh. Sometime I’ll have to tell you the story about the stray orange kitty that tried to drag me out of the house, to be his forever!
