I need help! I saw a pair of totally awesome gloves that looked like bear paws, and now I can’t remember which website I saw them on. They’re big and brown, they have fur (fake fur, I assume), and they have claws and pads just like real paws.
I have an image of my best friend’s boyfriend in my head, and he’s wearing the gloves, drinking a beer, and saying “roar.” That image has to happen in real life, and to make that work, I need to find those gloves! I Googled several variations/combinations of “bear,” “paw,” and “gloves” without success. Any ideas?

No claws, but try searching for mittens.
Google “bear mittens”. I got a bunch of hits, one of which was http://www.bearhands.net which, under Adult Mittens, seems to have what you’re looking for.

Might these be they? (I’m thinking not, since these don’t have claws…but maybe they could be an acceptable substitution?)

I’m not sure if they have pads, but I saw some very similar gloves at Kings Island. They were sold outside of the roller coaster “The Beast”. I looked at their website and didn’t immediately see an online gift shop, but you might try contacting them.

Try Disney – I know they make Stitch gloves with the claws; they may have something along the Brother Bear lines of things.

I saw some of these once (claws included) at a booth at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco. The Folsom Street Fair is a sort of leather/fetish street fair, so you may want to try some more “adult” websites to find versions with claws.
I could swear I saw some like that at Macy’s, Penney’s, Sears or something like that (too much christmas shopping has got them all running together).
That was in Frederick, MD, so I don’t know what other places might have in stock.
We used to have those at Ucla — mascot is the Bruin Bear. We would wear them to the football/basketball/volleyball games. I checked the online Bearwear store (…yes, really, it’s called that) and they don’t have them. Neither does the Cal Berkeley (Golden Bears) online store. But maybe search other sports teams that have bear mascots?
just saw them yesterday at my local Sears. There were bears, tigers and other sorts of animals. They were awesome!!
